Just saw an ad on the history channel for US Top Gear. There is a lot of negativity on most of the other automotive forums, but I'm going to give the US version a chance. History channel has really stepped up in the last year or two. Maybe they will do a decent job of replicating top gear UK.

Probably less than 1% of Americans know what Top Gear really is so most people will be none the wiser that the show is already very popular across the pond.

Anyway, What do you think about the US Top Gear?

I find it hard to think it will be worth a damn but I'll watch it, anything with cars can't be bad

I agree. I don't plan to hold it to the same standard, maybe we'll be surprised.
