Oh, and my "baby" is my 1988 Nissan Pulsar NX SE; I'm the original owner and still have it.
What car are you coming from?

I'm considering a Juke to replace my 2009 MINI Cooper S. Love it, but lots of issues have me very nervous.

It was time for a new vehicle, I was going to go Xterra then the Juke caught my eye, after a test drive, I fell in love. Waiting on delivery. |

That will be a good decision in a few months when energy prices go through the roof.

I traded in a 2007 Dodge Caliber, which I hated, for a red AWD SV. I've had the Juke for about 3 weeks and I have a long commute to and from work so I've been able to get a feel for the car and thus far, very few complaints- I really enjoy driving it and the pick-up is incredible, even when the car is not in "sport" mode. The navigation system is one of the easiest I have ever used and while some lament the lack of an arm rest, I never really used them when I had them. I find there is adequate storage space and the glove compartment is quite deep. I do wish the steering wheel would telescope to bring it forward towards the body a bit, but that's not a huge issue.
I have mixed feelings about the audio system- I have the Rockford Fosgate sub but the sound isn't as good as the after-market Alpine system (amp, speakers and stereo) that I installed in my last car. The sound seems a bit muddy and while there is good balance, it almost seems like all the sound is in the front. At high volumes the sound gets distorted. I'm not really sure if the problem is with the speakers or the system- I am assuming there is an internal amplifier I'm not sure. I don't know if getting an external amp would help. I'm also not sure if after-market installation of a new system is possible in the Juke SV with the navigation unit but if it were, I might consider upgrading it. |

I sold my '06 Mazda 3i to buy a new 2011 black Juke SV. Love it so far ! best swap I have ever made. Got tired of the all the check engine lights on the Mazda for the stupid fuel tank lid if I did too many clicks or not enough, no science to it, just luck.( The first time I filled the Juke's tank, I was thrilled to find out you can only do 2 clicks & your done, you cant go further, finally no guessing! Finally someone thought to fix this) Then my automatic tranny light started to light up & I was done ! didnt even care to fix it, I had a new car itch for a while & that was just the sign I needed to go for it !
